This is my first poem.... right from my heart... and this feeling goes on and will go on till my body n soul gets apart.....

I am in love with YOU,
I find my life only in YOU...
In my days and every nights,
only YOU are in the brights...
I c YOU everywhere,
In my dreams and every cheer...
I never feel YOUR absence,
cos in my heart YOU are always present...
And YOU will be present in my heart,
untill my body and soul gets apart.......

MOM, I WANT THIS,,,

These are the words that echoes into my ears when while crossing a traffic signal, i see a child begging for alms or asking for food.. At that instant of time, i feel so helpless and feel that m so cruel when i had to turn my face away from that child. And i know, most of us feel the way i do... I remember the instances of my childhood when i just keep on making demands (i want this, i want that...) for some or the other things, used to cry to get things i wanted and finally used to get it.. And now when I see these child deprived of their childhood, i feel that i am a very lucky person to have got the love of my Parents, to have got most of the things i wished for in my childhood, to have got the education i needed... What about these children, roaming around the streets day and night.. our day started with the care of mom, breakfast which was readily available and then a rickshaw or a car that will drop us to d school and take us back home after the school was over and finally we used to sleep in peace with most of the things got done by mom.. What about these children.. Their day starts with the search for food or the work they are doing to earn their livelihood.. Everyday while going to the office, i see atleast 2-3 children roaming in the streets,at the time when they must be in the school... getting the education they deserve, the education that is their fundamental right.. but they are deprived of it... Most of us can see the example in our homes only, we employ children for our house keeping, to play with the newly born and to take care of them when we are busy.. We can see a child of a Press wala or a Chai wala who starts his day with work, works hard for the whole day to earn his livelihood, to survive in this cruel world.. And what we do, if he makes even a small mistake, we shout at them.. Not thinking of what we are doing... Shouting at a child who deserved the love and care of a parent instead of our rudeness.. Education instead of the work he is doing...

We do a lot for things related to ourselves. Isnt it our moral responsibility to come out and help these children, to make their life beautiful, to make their world a better place to live.. I personally feel it is my responsibility... And I know most of us are willing to help but we dont know the way to do it.. We are helpless when we see them in the streets, we feel that this is not what they deserve.. we want to help but... a big but... we dont act... The thing is we have to act, and i hope everyone who is reading this believes the same... All of us together can make a difference to so many lives, give the love to so many lives.... rather... give life to so many lives....

I hereby request u all to come with an idea on how can we go ahead and make the life of these children beautiful.... One thing we can do is join an NGO and help them indirectly by donating to these NGO... Other thing we can do is be a volunteer in an NGO and help these children...And third thing we can do is we can start an NGO and help them the way we want to... A lot can be done if we come out to help and not just supress the feeling that comes when we see such a child in d streets or anywhere.... We have to ACT.... I again request you all to come up with an idea on which we all will act together so that it gives the real meaning to our lives...

EVERYONE HAS EQUAL RIGHT TO LIVE ?

Each and everyone of us have equal right to live, i hope all of you agree to this point,,, dont you??? We are proud to be human beings, but are'nt we all too inhuman when it comes to animals. What do you say? Do they also hold the right to live? Or should we decide their fate.. Why we are not being held inside the Jail and are not given a Life punishment for killing an innocent speechless animal. We kill them just for the sake of taste, is this justifiable? Do these animals we eat dont have any right to live? We justify our killing of those animals (Fish, chicken, goat and what not, I guess human beings are on the line) by giving excuses of their population explosion and Food Cycle etc. The Human (inhuman i should say) population is increasing at a drastic rate, because of which there is scarcity of space, employment, food etc. Does this means that we should start killing the "innocent" human beings for our selfish motives, for our food (taste) needs etc. If you do that, chances are high that you will be behind the bars soon (if you are not a politician or a friend of one). No we cant justify killing of any human beings to fulfill anykind of need of ours, even then we do that ( for money a brother fights with his brother (AMBANI BROS), kills his brother / sister/ anyone (lots of cases, pick up a newspaper, i m sure u ll get one such news) ) this is when we have certain kind of need some selfish motive, but what about eating animals, do we really need to or do we have enough veg options to fulfill our needs. The answer is, we have a hell lot of option, but we dont want to realise this thing and we just kill these animals because we like their taste. R we so inhuman that we cant feel the pain of cutting and chopping a life that has as equal right to live as we have. Have you ever felt the pain of a cut by a knife??? How painful it is??? Just give it a thought. can we cut our legs ( we ask 4 the chicken's leg).

I dont know how much this effort of mine is gonna awake ur consience. Many may just feel what I hav written is right but will suppress their feelings for the sake of taste. Some may accede to my point but may still not change, I dont care but if this msg of mine is going to wake up even a single person, then i will feel my effort is fruitful.

I request you all to just think over it, dont just leave this because you want to enjoy the taste, feel d pain someone gets just because we like their taste. I am hopeful of positive responses from you...

waiting for a positive change... waiting for the d when really "Every being (not just human being) will really have the equal right to live )....
